Not a lot of places are open for lunch on Saturday so this is always a good option. Today I had a great salad with added grilled chicken. It was huge, but I was hungry and salad is never good the next day, so I ate it all! And it was delicious! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was not very busy at 1 pm but it looked like it was a favorite for "ladies who lunch" because everyone there were women! The restaurant was very cold that day. We had to eat with our jackets on. I looked around and so did everyone else. That cold plus the water I had with my meal made me have to go searching for a restroom. It was not conveniently located to the dining room, but on the other side of the bar. It was clean, but a hike to get to,

Told my friends I was in the mood for a good burger while I was in Pittsburgh. They said, "we're going to Jaffre's". Place was great, with good service, a great burger, and some cold beer, plus enough TVs to watch some sports. Definitely will be back!

I've eaten here a few times. Each time my meal has been delicious. The service has been wonderful. Yesterday, however, my husband and I stopped in for an early anniversary dinner. The service again was great. However, the food left much to the liking. My husband was happy with his chicken parm, but I had the NY strip with mashed potatoes and carrots. The steak was fatty, and a bit tough. The mashed potatoes were luke warm and the carrots were completely uncooked. I hate to give a bad review, but had to this time. While my experience yesterday wasn't all that great, I look forward to dining here again sometime in the future.

We came to Jaffre's on a Saturday Afternoon to take a break from shopping. This was about my third time here and always have a good experience. They have a good variety of food and everything I get always tastes good! They also give complementary bread with your meal. The grilled chicken salad is one of my favs! Highly recommend!

This review is based on a recent visit during their lunch hour. My motivation for going here was based on 2 separate opinions giving this place high marks. The restaurant has been open since this summer. Not knowing enough about the newly named restaurant, and its owners, I waited for some feedback before trying it on my own. The previous place had a reputation for attracting unwanted trouble so I assumed the same to be true under its new name. This first visit proved me to be wrong with my assumptions! The restaurant is very comfortable, warm and inviting, The menu has plenty of wonderful options for all hunger levels. They offer 11 starter plates, wings, 2 soup choices, several different salads with options such as Strawberry Chicken, a Gorgonzola Pear Salad, and a traditional Caesar Salad, to name a few of the 7 listed. Six kinds of burgers, including the Guinness Burger, and another burger topped with corned beef, sauerkraut and cheddar cheese. They also have various pasta dishes, fresh hand tossed pizzas which includes a delicious sounding Seafood Pizza with shrimp and crabmeat. Main courses ranging from Bourbon Salmon to Filet Mignon. The sandwich menu lists their" Almost Famous" battered fish sandwich along with a Curried Chicken sandwich and much more. Jaffre's definitely went above and beyond my original expectations and I look forward to another visit for lunch, dinner or for game night drinks and appetizers. A big welcome to the neighborhood!
